Iconclast is in the process of being transitioned to Patreon. It will be ready by 01/29. Until then, join the Patreon for free to get updates!
Hello everyone! Thanks for dropping by today. Thank you to everyone who is supporting The Iconoclast, I hope you've enjoyed the story so far, there is much more to come! I want to begin to post a weekly or biweekly blog so that I can get to know you all better and you can get to know me.
As a first note, these weekly blogs will be open to all members, not just paying ones. If there is a blog that discusses specific details in the story or anything of that nature that will be for paid members only, however. I want to have a space to discuss and engage with anyone who stops by that is interested in The Iconoclast so I think this should be beneficial.
Onto the main section. It's no secret that The Iconoclast is heavily inspired by Japanese media, namely manga and anime. My dream for Iconoclast is to have both a manga and an anime adaptation that is faithful to the source material. While thinking about that goal, I've also thought about the individual pieces that would go into it. That is to say: If I had full creative control, what studio would animate? Who would voice act the characters? Who would compose the music?
The question that I come back to the most frequently, and one that is the hardest for me is: what will the opening song and ending song be?
The opening and ending of an anime are far more important than the openings and endings of other media. The opening can provide hints to the story, it sets the mood and it gets the audience excited for the show.
For shows with high levels of drama, I find that a good ending really drills the emotions in and caps off the events that just preceded in the show.
After really forcing myself to come to a decision for the sake of this post I've decided, these two songs are my dream opening song and my dream ending song.
